After our overnight stay on the boat in Ha Long Bay, we returned to Hanoi to catch the sleeper train south to Hue. This train travels through Hanoi’s Train Street which we had previously seen on foot and we were looking forward to now travelling through it. However, it was so dark at night we couldn’t see anything out the cabin window. Apart from this the train was a great experience and I enjoyed it a lot more than I had expected.

The next day, we arrived in Hue where we would spend two nights before heading to Hoi An. Hue was an excellent place to visit, the Imperial City was a highlight for me and I had a lot of fun taking photos there.
