Goa, India, 2019

I was very grateful to be invited to my friend’s wedding in Goa, India, at the end of 2019. My trip to India was an incredible experience; the wedding was wonderful, and throughout India, I saw so many incredible things, and the food was a vegan’s paradise.

While in India, and after the wedding, some of us decided to stay longer and join an Intrepid tour called the Golden Triangle, which you can read about here. In total, our trip, including the wedding, took around three weeks.

I’ve split my blog posts about India by location, as there’s too much to put in one post.

To start with, we stayed in a hotel in Goa for the first week of our trip. We spent a lot of time on the beach and carrying out some last-minute tasks for the wedding in the city, as well as going through some pre-wedding traditions.

I haven’t included any photos from the wedding for the sake of privacy, and the fact I was too drunk to stand. After the wedding itself, we were very graciously offered a day tour around some of the many highlights of Goa, ending up in an AirBnB for our final night.

I had with me, you guessed it, my Nikon D3400 and stock lens.
